2026 Civic Learning Award Application Season is Here!

News Release

Courts may participate in the annual Civic Learning Award program in the following ways:

• Encourage schools to apply by sending them an email with a link to powerofdemocracy.org

• Designate volunteers to visit honored schools in their county or district to present the award in September (announcement will be made on Law Day May 1)

• Designate volunteers to review and score applications -- estimated time commitment is 3hrs.

• Share our social media posts (Facebook | LinkedIn | X)

  
  

Members of the Courts Connected community will be notified if schools their counties and districts are selected. This notice will go out before the May 1 announcement. (If you are reading this Blog, you are a member). Members will receive school contact information and a copy of the application.
