  • 1 min read

Courts may participate in the annual Civic Learning Award program in the following ways:

  • Encourage schools to apply by sending them an email with a link to powerofdemocracy.org

  • Suggest educators register for and attend the Mar 11 webinar where they will learn more about the program and have opportunities to ask questions about applying (the registration link is in the above news release. The event will be recorded and posted on this website)

  • Designate volunteers to visit honored schools in their county or district to present the award (announcement will be made on Law Day)

  • Designate volunteers to review and score applications -- estimated time commitment is 3hrs.

  • Share our social media posts (Facebook | LinkedIn | X)

Members of the Courts Connected community will be notified if schools their counties and districts are selected. This notice will go out before the May 1 announcement. (If you are reading this Blog, you are a member). Members will receive school contact information and a copy of the application.
